The short version
- We don't run servers. What you add stays on your phones and in your own iCloud.
- We can't see your answers, moods, photos or anything else you share.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.
- Only you and the partner you invite can see what you share.
Who we are
Twosome is an iPhone app for couples, made by Adrian Viziteu (“we”, “us”). If you have a question about this policy, write to hello@gettwosome.com.
What you put in the app
Twosome only holds what you and your partner choose to add:
- Your names, profile emojis or photos, and the date you got together
- Answers to the daily question, moods and their notes
- Journal entries, photos you pick, and special dates
- Doodles, game answers, challenges and date ideas
- Links to reels you save for Tonight, and the date of your next meet-up
We don't ask for your email address, phone number or contacts, and you don't create an account with us.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on your iPhone and synced through Apple iCloud (CloudKit) in your own iCloud account. When you invite your partner, Twosome uses iCloud sharing so that only the two of you can read and change your shared data. We have no access to it.
iCloud is run by Apple, and Apple's Privacy Policy applies to how it stores your data.
Widgets read a small copy of your data stored on your iPhone, so they can show it on your Home Screen and Lock Screen.
Photos and location
Twosome only sees the photos you pick. It never browses your photo library.
If a photo you add has a location saved in it, Twosome uses it to place the photo on your map. To show the name of the place, the location is sent to Apple's mapping service. You can remove the location from any entry.
Notifications
Daily reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. iCloud may also send your phone silent notifications so your partner's updates arrive quickly. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings.
Purchases
Twosome Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your payment details. To unlock Plus on both phones, the app saves the date your Plus ends in your shared iCloud data.
Links to other apps
When you save a reel for Tonight, Twosome stores its link. Opening it takes you to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or another site, whose own privacy policies apply.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or share your data
- We don't show ads or track you across apps and websites
- We don't use analytics or crash-reporting services of our own
Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated crash and usage reports if you've chosen to share them with app developers in your iPhone's settings.
Deleting your data
- Delete any entry, answer or photo in the app at any time.
- To remove Twosome's data from one phone, go to Twosome › Settings › Erase this phone.
- To delete it from iCloud, go to iPhone Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › Twosome.
What you've shared stays visible to your partner until it's deleted from iCloud.
Children
Twosome is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Since your data lives in your own iCloud and not with us, you can do all of this directly in the app or in iCloud settings. If you need help, contact us at hello@gettwosome.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change is important, we'll also tell you in the app.
